Each academic year, PULSe hosts three events for students and faculty. These include a retreat, an open house, and a recruitment visit.
At the start of the fall semester, the PULSe Retreat is held in the John S. Wright Center at Martell Forest. The event serves as a welcome to our new PULSe students and as a gathering for the diverse PULSe student body and faculty.
The day includes poster sessions showcasing all available labs, discussion groups held by each Training Group, and a barbecue to allow some relaxation time.
Fall Open House:
In the middle of the fall semester, PULSe invites prospective students to come to West Lafayette to learn more about all that PULSe has to offer. This day includes a meet the faculty session, lunch with students, tours of facilities, and a student seminar presentation.
In the spring semester, prospective students living in the U.S. who have been given an offer of admission are invited to spend a couple of days at Purdue to learn about faculty research, student life, Purdue life science facilities, and the West Lafayette/Lafayette community.
PULSe Faculty Seminar Series, PULSe Student Colloquium Series, and PULSe Student Organization events. Refer to the Calendar of Events for details.
