Current Research Interests:
Currently, my research focuses on understanding the genetics basis for ion uptake in plant systems. My particular project looks specifically at the mechanisms and pathways involved in molybdenum uptake. One of these proteins MOT1 is of particular interest in understanding its function and localization, as well as it's evolutionary importance and selectivity.
Other Interests:
I enjoy playing music and enjoying the outdoors. Anytime I can get away and relax by camping or visiting friends and family is welcome.
